Bambino Plus steam issue

Hi,

I’ve got a 4yr old Bambino Plus with an intermittent issue with the steam function.

For the first use in the morning it sometimes take a couple of tries to get steam to come out of the wand. The first try will blow water then bubbles, but no steam and the cycle will stop. The next try usually steam starts to come out.

It steams fine and the temp sensor works fin, it’s just intermittent.

Would this likely be the thermocoil or the 3 way valve?
